Why we support Hestia

In the UK, 5% of adults face domestic abuse each year, there are over 130,000 victims of modern slavery and 65% of people experience a mental health problem. With public finances stretched and cost of living increases placing strain on household budgets, these numbers are predicted to rise, along with the human distress behind each one.
Hestia is a leading provider of support services and emergency housing in London and the South East with decades of experience helping people into a life beyond crisis. This is embodied by The Hestia Approach where people are treated as equals along their recovery journey and hope of recovery is always maintained, ultimately empowering people to forge their own recovery and create fulfilling lives of their own choosing.
