The Social Business Trust and Schroders announce extension to their partnership

We are pleased to announce a three-year extension to the partnership between the Social Business Trust (SBT) and Schroders. Since the partnership began in 2021, over 200 Schroders employees have volunteered over 1,000 hours of professional expertise and delivered over £700,000 of combined in-kind and financial investment to enable 21 charities social enterprises to grow their impact.

Together, Schroders and SBT have created a skills-based volunteering programme that is available to Schroders’ UK employees. As a key business partner, Schroders offers practical support on projects and activities for SBT’s carefully selected portfolio of ambitious social enterprises.

Louise Hosking, Chief of Staff, Schroders commented:

The Social Business Trust was launched in 2010 with the mission of helping outstanding social enterprises scale their impact, through professional support and targeted grant funding from leading corporate partners. We partner with social enterprises focused on improving the education system, helping more people from disadvantaged backgrounds into jobs, and supporting better health and wellbeing for all age groups.
