Renewing our commitment to transforming public services

SBT is proud to announce the renewal of its partnership with Catch22 for a further five years to help Catch22 achieve their new strategy, Mission 2030. The aim of this ambitious plan is to continue to drive high-quality public service delivery, innovation and reform, emphasising that everyone, given the right opportunities and support, can thrive.

Catch22 designs and delivers over 100 public services for those facing disadvantage across the UK. These services include helping young people to build the right skills to join the workforce, supporting rehabilitation of ex-offenders and enabling vulnerable children to thrive. Beyond delivery, Catch22 draws on cross-sector expertise, data and financial resources to reform how services are designed and delivered at a systemic level.

Over the past five years, SBT has worked closely with Catch22 supporting on a wide range of strategic initiatives, enabling Catch22 to deliver even greater impact. One standout success has been driving innovation in services supporting victims of crime and exploitation nationally. Proof of what’s possible when strategic thinking meets frontline delivery. Despite an increasingly challenging public sector context, Catch22 continues to transform the lives of more than 100,000 people every year.

Looking ahead, SBT will continue to provide dedicated support to develop Mission 2030 and bring it into reality.

Joanne Hay, CEO of SBT, said: “Catch22 has a remarkable ability to combine exceptional service delivery with a relentless focus on improving how public services work for the people who rely on them. Mission 2030 reflects that ambition. We’re proud to be extending our partnership for a further five years and look forward to supporting Naomi and her team as they build on their strong track record of innovation and continue making a lasting difference in communities across the UK”

Naomi Hulston, CEO of Catch22, said: “We are absolutely delighted to be renewing our partnership with the Social Business Trust for a further five years. The support we’ve received through this partnership has been transformational, enabling us to do things we simply would not have been able to achieve otherwise. Beyond investment, the expertise, challenge and strategic support provided by SBT and its partners have helped us strengthen our organisation, accelerate our Mission 2030 ambitions and ultimately increase the impact we have for the thousands of people and communities we work alongside every year.

Long-term partnerships like this are vital to helping charities innovate, grow and deliver lasting change and we’re incredibly grateful for SBT’s continued belief in our mission and our people.”

Simon Turner, Investment Director and Partner at Bain & Company, said: “Partnerships like this one show the real value of bringing business expertise and social impact together. Catch22’s combination of frontline insight and ambition for reform makes them an outstanding organisation to work with, and we’ve learnt as much from them as they have from us. We’re delighted to be continuing that journey and helping to bring Mission 2030 to life.”
